ARCHITECTURAL RENDERINGS

Designed by Smith Architects, Flagstaff, the 33,000 square foot hotel is located at the entry to Tuzigoot National Monument, just above the Verde River. The Taawaki Inn will feature a culturally significant and educational component, as the hotel will reflect the Hopi culture.

Hank Arens Designs, the project’s Interior Designer, has curated an array of Hopi art for the building’s interiors and guest rooms, such as woven belts, baskets, pottery, Kachina Dolls, large paintings, hand-painted tiles, and a stained-glass window, all created by Hopi artists. The first of its kind in the area, the Taawaki Inn will offer traditional Hopi cultural activities mixed in with modern amenities.
