CONCRETE NIGHT POURS
Why we often pour concrete at night:
When concrete cures at high temperatures it has a high rate of evaporation, causing unwanted blemishes and cracks, so the night is preferable because the temperature is descending. In addition, concrete workers can avoid daytime high temperatures while working on a surface that is exuding heat itself. Lastly, concrete should be put in place within 90 minutes of loading the truck. Depending on the proximity to the job site, this can be a big challenge.
