31+ YEARS OF WESPAC
Celebrating a milestone anniversary last year, Wespac Construction defines their work as “the technical execution of creative thought.” This philosophy has guided the firm for over 31 years, creating meaningful structures that enhance and unite the community it serves.
Established by John Largay in 1991, Wespac Construction has grown to become one of the Valley’s most diverse and well-respected general contracting companies. Since its inception, Wespac has nurtured long-term relationships with clients; providing superior customer service and honest business practices that create appreciation, value, and confidence. The firm stays competitive in the marketplace by pursuing the unique and different, and by maintaining a community-driven culture that promotes long-term individual growth and challenge. Designed to promote the 3 C’s – Community, Culture and Charity, John Largay also founded M3F, Arizona’s only 100% non-profit music festival; conceived as a way for Wespac Construction to give back to the community. The event is produced by Wespac employees and has donated $4.4M to local charities over the years.
As a top-ranking firm in Phoenix Business Journal’s Book of Lists and ENR’s Top 400 and Southwest Contractor Lists, Wespac has created some of the most distinctive projects throughout the Valley. A drive along the Loop 101 and 202 Freeway Interchange will provide views of numerous Wespac creations such as Freedom Financial, Benchmark Electronics, Rio 2100 Retail/Office, Liberty Center at Rio Salado, and Donor Network of Arizona. Continuing along the highway to the West Valley brings you to the firm’s latest and largest industrial facilities: Cowden Logistics Center, Avondale 101 Logistics Center, and Akimel Gateway. Additional unique projects on the docket for Wespac include the City’s first car-free community coming soon to Tempe and a modernization to the existing Snowbowl in Flagstaff, Arizona.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of these projects,” says Nybo, “and want to thank our employees, designers, building partners, and clients – who have helped to build the community around us through the decades.”
