The redevelopment of Anchor Centre includes the complete transformation of the entry and plaza area. The previous site was constrained by a 100-year retention basin preventing access to the north plaza. The scope of work includes the demolition of the existing plaza, installing a new waterproof membrane and adding a new entry and parking area providing access to Camelback Road. 7,500 cubic feet of underground retention was incorporated to address floodplain requirements and accommodate the new improvements. The project features a large trellis courtyard with water feature for outdoor seating and lush low water landscaping to reduce consumption.
